Glutathione the premier Nutritional supplement

Glutathione and Cancer

Doctor Mehmet C Oz told his studio audience that they may be worried for the wrong reasons on Thursday’s show.
There are some myths concerning cancer and he wanted to set the record straight.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death. He said that the
doctors aren’t telling the lies, but we are “telling each other’.

Big Lie #1: You Don’t Have Cancer

“We all have microscopic cancers growing inside of us all of the time,”
Dr William Li, MD, a cancer researcher and pioneer, told Oz.
There are 50 trillion cells in our body and all it takes is one cell to mutate.

Our immune system fights these cells every day. Also, our body naturally
prevents blood vessels from growing into and feeding cancers.

We can eat the right foods and avoid the wrong foods. Don’t get too much sun,
avoid cigarette smoke and use sun screen. Also avoid processed meats, sleep right and exercise.

Big Lie #2: You Can’t Catch Cancer

Is cancer contagious?

“There are certain bacteria and viruses that can cause cancer,”
Ilana Cass, MD told Oz. Cass is an oncologist at the Samuel Oschin
Cancer Institute at Cedars Sinai. These viruses and bacteria are contagious.

H. Pylori can cause stomach cancer and affects 30 to 40 percent of Americans.
This can be treated with antibiotics.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) can cause cervical cancer.
About 20 million Americans have been exposed to HPV and about
five percent of all cancers are associated with it.

Hepatitis B can cause liver damage and liver cancer.
This and HPV are viruses and vaccinations are available.

Big Lie #3: The Only Place to Check for Breast Cancer is Your Breast

Women and doctors should check the breast and lymph nodes.
Oz said to check for lumps at the same “time” every month – like on the 1st.

Dara Richardson-Heron , MD from the Susan G Komen of Greater New York Foundation,
said to check from the clavicle and axillary areas. Inflammatory cancer
does not create a lump but dimples the skin like an orange peal.

Big Lie #4: You Can Only Get Female Cancers from your Mother

Breast, uterus and ovarian cancer can be inherited from both your mom and dad.
Just because you inherit the defective gene doesn’t mean you will always get the cancer,
according to Dr. Cass.
Secret Weapons against Cancer

“Your genes load the gun but your environment pulls the trigger” Oz said.
Lifestyle changes can reduce the risk of developing cancer.

Dr Li said eating Gouda Cheese can reduce the risk of cancer. These cheeses contain
vitamin K2 which inhibits cancer. All you need is two slices of “hard” cheese a
day to reduce lung and prostate cancer risk. Vitamin K2 also protects the
heart from hardening of the arteries.

Dr Cass said to exercise three times per week for 30 minutes to elevate the heart rate.
She said 45 minutes five days a week is better. Keep the weight down, Oz recommended.

Dr Richardson said that we need to limit our intake of pan-fired and grilled meats.
This includes pork, chicken and even fish. Frying the meat breaks down the muscle
and the charred black areas are the worse. She recommended marinating the meat first.
You can put foil on the grill to prevent charring the meat.

Steaming, broiling and even sautéing are acceptable alternatives. And if we grill something,
grill vegetables and fruits.
Most Power Antioxidant - Glutathione

David Katz, MD, Director of the Yale Prevention Research Center,
said glutathione is the most power antioxidant.
The body manufactures this to defend us against toxins.

If you have a chronic disease like diabetes or cancer, you might not have
enough of this antioxidant. Even if you are just “run-down”
you may not have enough, according to Katz.

We can naturally increase our glutathione by eating broccoli, cauliflower, garlic and onions.
These are sulfur rich vegetables. Selenium rich foods can also help build the substance.
Oats, black beans, Brazil nuts and tuna help us manufacture glutathione.

Vitamin B6 and Milk Thistle supplements can help us create glutathione.
Katz said Milk thistle can help liver function. This protects and helps the liver produce it.

Exercise can boost glutathione levels. It helps filter the toxins out of the body too.

and don't bother taking any old supplement because most Glutathione supplements
are a waste of time.

Antioxidants

Antioxidants and Healthy Aging

The Free Radical Theory of Aging. The Free Radical theory of

Aging was proposed by Dr D Harman in 1954. It proposed that

the formation of free radicals from chemical reactions in the body

led to the breakdown of cellular health.

Free radicals are unstable molecules that are missing electrons.

These molecules come from our normal metabolism and various

disease states, including high blood cholesterol levels, hypertension

and diabetes, exogenous toxins, cigarette smoking, unhealthy

food choices, pollution, stress and even exercise. They damage

healthy cells by stripping their electrons, making the healthy

cells less able to resist and repair cellular damage.

He amended this theory in 1972 with the

“Mitochondrial Theory of Aging” when he realized that our

mitochondria were producing and being affected by

free radicals and that our mitochondrial health determines our actual life span.

There are numerous degenerative diseases attributed to free radical damage.

Overall, free radicals have been implicated in the development of at

least 60 diseases, including heart disease, cancer, arthritis and

other inflammatory diseases, kidney disease, cataracts,

lung dysfunction, pancreatitis and various skin lesions.

Antioxidants.

Antioxidants are important because they neutralize free radicals

before they can damage our cells. The most important source

of antioxidants is in the food we choose to eat, mostly found in

deeply pigmented fruits and vegetables.

The other source of antioxidants is through supplements like Glutathione.

Essential for life

Glutathione…as essential for life as oxygen, and yet few people know what it is.
We want you to understand why glutathione is vital to
your health and longevity and how Max One™ and Maxgxl™
increase your levels of Glutathione.
So, what is glutathione? It is the major cell
protector and the master antioxidant in the body.
Antioxidants protect the cells in our bodies from
oxidation and oxidative stress, and that’s a good thing —
oxidative stress has been associated
with more than 74 major diseases and disorders.
Glutathione is a protein produced naturally in our cells
if the required building blocks
are available. As the most important antioxidant, glutathione:

* Is present in every cell in the body.
* Functions as an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging.
* Strengthens the immune system
* Fights intracellular inflammation
* Supports increased exercise
* Slows the aging process

The production of glutathione in our bodies slows as we age,
leaving us vulnerable to oxidative stress,
caused by environmental pollutants,
diet, stress, and even exercise. Pub Med,
maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine,
has more than 91,000 articles on glutathione
substantiating its health benefits (in contrast,
there are around 40,000 articles on vitamin C).
And yet doctors and scientists around the world have been
unable to find a way to effectively deliver
glutathione to the cells until recently.
MaxGXL® is an exclusive, breakthrough product that provides
the body with nutrients that increase your glutathione production.
